YOUR JACK-O-LANTERN DESERVES A BETTER ENDING.
Every November, porches across Northern Colorado become riddled with slowly slumping pumpkins. Most of them up in the trash.
A few years back, we thought they (our earth) deserved better. So we parked a trailer in our driveway, hung a sign, and invited our neighbors to dump their post-Halloween pumpkins. Every last one went to feed the pigs at a local farm — an environmentally-conscious, community-forward investment in The Homies and the place we call home.
This year, we’re moving to the park. Think: more room for connection, a dedicated place for your kids to run off the leftover candy rush & a safe place to collect pumpkins.

The trailer stays put the whole weekend, so drop off whenever it works for you.
DROP-OFF OPENS
Northern Colorado Junk Removal will drop the trailer on Saturday, November 7th at 9 am.
COME SAY HI
Salz Home Solutions staff will distribute swag bags from 9 AM to 12-noon on Saturday, November 7th.
DROP-OFF CLOSES
Northern Colorado Junk Removal will retrieve the trailer at 12-noon on Sunday, November 8th and deliver the donation to Golden Valley Farm.
WINNER IS DRAWN
We’ve partnered with Billy and Myranda Dabney, Bank of Colorado, to give The Homies the chance to win an epic raffle prize. The winner will be announced Monday, November 9th.

A large trailer with a Pumpkins for Pigs banner will be posted on Oakley Drive. Salz Home Solutions staff will be distributing swag bags with over $200 of local business goodies on Saturday, November 7th from 9 AM to 12-noon.
